Biohabitat is an interdisciplinary initiative working at the intersection of biodiversity, socioecological systems, environmental governance and regenerative built environments. Founded by architect and researcher Jorge Caminero Gabernet, the initiative explores how design, construction and public policy can contribute to more resilient, regenerative and inclusive relationships between human and non-human communities. Its work is structured around two complementary research lines: biodiversity, more-than-human environments and socioecological systems; and biomaterials, circularity and zero-carbon technologies.
